Troubleshooting
Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility, and make sure DockLockr is in the list and toggled on. If it's already there, toggle it off and on again. DockLockr needs Accessibility access to lock and unlock Dock changes.
Quit DockLockr from the menu bar, reopen it, then choose “Enter Licence Key” from the Settings menu and paste the key from your purchase email. If you can't find your email, write to support and we'll re-send it.
Open DockLockr on the old Mac, go to Settings → Licence, and click “Deactivate this device.” Then install DockLockr on the new Mac and enter your licence key — it'll take the freed slot. A licence allows up to three active devices at any time.
Open Terminal and run `killall Dock` (without quotes). macOS will rebuild the Dock fresh in a second. DockLockr is supposed to unlock everything when it quits, so if you ever see this, please send us a quick note — we'd like to know.
Yes. The Dock locks apply system-wide and persist across Spaces and Stage Manager states. If you toggle Pin Dock to Screen, DockLockr will remember the chosen display even when you move between Spaces.
DockLockr 1.0 is Apple Silicon only. We made this call to keep the app small, fast, and reliable on modern Macs.
